The truth is that I fall in love, so easily

The vertical installation picks up the paper from the ground. Then mechanical structures fold the paper into a shape similar to that of maple samara. Eventually, the paper is blown away from the machine, drawing a beautiful spiral line and landing slowly on the ground.

One of the inspiration of the work comes from one of the artist’s childhood trips to Qingpu, Shanghai, where the artist first saw maple seeds falling in a spiral posture. In this way, the work is a response to a childhood scene.
