Quyuan Garden Project: A New Jiangnan Reborn In Relics and Reflections
Quyuan is the former residence of Yu Yue (1821-1907), a master of Pu Xue in the late Qing Dynasty. It was built in 1874 and is located at No. 43, Ma Medical Branch, Gusu District, Suzhou City. It is a national cultural relics protection unit managed by Suzhou Literature and Art Home.
Among the gardens, Quyuan has its own unique humanistic and spatial atmosphere. We hope to use the new era art in space to recreate works and activate or create a new discovery in Suzhou in these time and materials.
